Winner of six Tony Awards® and two Grammys®, the barrier-breaking Broadway legend and “Live From Lincoln Center” host Audra McDonald dazzles audiences with favorite showtunes and songs from her new album Go Back Home — her most personal recording to date. Audra McDonald made history at the 2014 Tony Awards by becoming the first actress to receive an award in each of the four actress categories, winning for her stunning performance as the iconic Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill. She had previously won for her performances as Bess in Porgy & Bess and Sarah in Ragtime. Her appearances on television include work as Naomi Bennet on “Private Practice” and as Mother Abbess in NBC’s “The Sound of Music Live!” with Carrie Underwood.
