The New York Philharmonic Principal Brass Quintet features the legendary brass principals from the oldest symphony orchestra in the U.S. — the New York Philharmonic. Enjoying worldwide exposure and an international reputation, the group features the playing of Philip Smith (Principal Trumpet), Ethan Bensdorf (Associate Principal Trumpet), Philip Myers (Principal Horn), Joe Alessi (Principal Trombone), and Alan Baer (Principal Tuba). The Principal Brass Quintet has become a regular feature on tours and residencies, contributing to New York Philharmonic’s performances in over 400 cities, in 63 countries on five continents.

Join us at 6:30 pm for a pre-concert lecture with Dr. Charles Guy.
