This summer, the Community Performance Series is offering a hands-on internship opportunity for five high school students who are passionate about the creative side of musical theater. Interns will collaborate with our team during the production of Something Rotten! and gain real-world experience in their chosen area of interest.
By participating in this program, interns will:
All students must complete a provided 10-hour OSHA safety course before attending the program.
Attendance at weekly meetings on Mondays 4pm-7pm is expected.
All students are expected to work three hours in the shop every week, totaling 18 hours by the end of the program.
All students must attend all tech rehearsals and performances of Something Rotten!
All students will complete a culminating final project.
All students intending to participate in the program must complete the following application form.
For students under the age of 18, parent permission is required to participate in the HS internship program. Please print and sign the form, then email to cps@potsdam.edu.
An academic letter of recommendation is required from a music teacher, dance teacher, voice teacher, or coach. Recommenders can email letters to cps@potsdam.edu.
