For the safety and enjoyment of CPS Potsdam events, the following policies apply to your visit.
Food and drinks are not permitted inside any CPS Potsdam theater or venue to ensure cleanliness and the safety of our patrons. However, water in a sealable container is allowed.
During some CPS Potsdam events, concessions or receptions may sell or offer food and drinks. Please consume all food and drinks in the lobby of the venue.
The use or consumption of alcohol, smoking, marijuana, and other drugs is prohibited at CPS Potsdam and the SUNY Potsdam campus.
For some CPS Potsdam events and receptions, a cash bar is available. These events are limited to adults only, and IDs will be checked to verify age.
Audio or video recording of CPS Potsdam events is prohibited. We ask that you please silence your electronic devices and dim their screens.
Artists may also prohibit you from taking and sharing photos of the event. CPS Potsdam will let you know if that restriction exists.
Pets are not permitted to attend CPS Potsdam events. However, service animals are always allowed.
Please respect the privacy of guest artists in all backstage areas. CPS Potsdam aims to ensure a safe, comfortable visit for guest artists, and they are not obligated to conduct meet-and-greets or join the audience after the show.
Attendance to CPS Potsdam events is restricted to valid ticket-holders, and access to backstage facilities is limited to guest artists and event staff. Staff will assist all patrons during an evacuation or lockdown of the venue.
For certain events, additional safety and security measures will be in-place to protect our guest artists and audiences. Please comply with all posted rules.
CPS Potsdam reserves the right to refuse service to any patron and the right to ask any patron to leave the premises.
CPS Potsdam accepts cash, check, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover), Bear Express, and Gift Certificates.
Tickets are only issued after payment in full.
Tickets purchased through our platform are registered to your user account. If you lose your ticket, and it has not been scanned, contact CPS Potsdam, and we can re-issue your ticket up to the start of the performance.
Tickets received from giveaways or acquired in-person one hour before the performance are bearer instruments. If these tickets have already been scanned, we may not be able to issue replacement tickets.
Tickets may not be purchased for re-selling, lotteries, or sweepstakes without our express permission. CPS Potsdam reserves the right to investigate any alleged violation of ticketing policies, and its decision is final.
A $3.00 fee per ticket is applied to all ticket transactions, including those made in-person and by cash, to cover the costs of using our ticketing provider and processing payments.
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. Tickets may, at any time before the event begins, exchanged for an upcoming show of equivalent value (incurs a $3.00 processing fee), converted into a gift certificate of the same value, or exchanged into a tax-deductible donation to CPS.
If you want to request a refund or exchange, contact CPS Potsdam.
CPS Potsdam may change the box office policy at any time without prior notice. For tickets previously sold, the policy in force at the time of sale shall apply.
