Vanessa Vaverchak is the Director of Public Learning, Arts and Community Engagement (PLACE) at SUNY Potsdam. She is pursuing a M. S. (management) degree at SUNY Potsdam and holds a BA (painting) from Binghamton University as well as an Associate in Fine Art degree from Keystone College. Before joining the campus, she worked in the NYC metro area as a graphic designer and marketing professional, then as an independent designer and artist after relocating to the Western Adirondacks in 2011. She now resides in Potsdam with her husband and two daughters where she enjoys creating art, gardening and morning coffee on the porch of their 1860 farmhouse.
Meghan Stever is the Assistant Director of the Community Performance Series. Working with the students and the community, she draws from years of management experience and a deep love for the theatrical craft. Mentoring the students and watching their careers take off is the best part of her job. Meghan holds an AA in Theatre Arts and BA in Theatrical Non-Profit Management from SUNY Empire.
